Я родилась в Австрии и окончила факультет истории искусства Университета Карла Франца в г. Грац. В своей работе я использую различные техники и материалы, но больше всего мне нравится рисовать шариковой ручкой (на бескислотной бумаге) в жанре фантастического реализма и завершать картины акварелью, маслом или акрилом. Именно использование шариковой ручки позволяет мне достичь высокой детализации в рисунках, в среднем работа над одной картиной длится около 100 часов. Большое влияние на сюжеты моих картин оказывают путешествия по Италии в разные годы. В каждую из работ я стараюсь привнести немного иронии ;)

Valentina Susanne Eberhardt was born in Graz, Austria. Upon graduation from school, she attended painting and design class for several years before she started studying art history at Karl Franzens University in Graz.

At a young age Valentina already experienced all the techniques of fine art. In her studio one can see aquarelles, oil paintings, ink drawings and her very special ballpoint drawings. At the age of 20 Valentina discovered her passion to this especial art instrument and has reached meanwhile her full potential in this technique. “I use a ballpoint pen, because most of the other artists use simple pencils, and I tried to create a different and unique style. It started as a joke by drawing my teachers at school. Working with a ballpoint seems to be easier, but ... one false stroke means going back to the start,” – says Valentina. Valentina"s works are different also because of highly detailed painting techniques: after a closer look, the viewer will see that each contour and shadow are formed by a multitude of subtlest lines and dots. Such nearly jewelry work on one picture can last 100 hours or more. From time to time she uses also watercolors and acrylic paint in order to add vibration to graphic eloquence.

Valentina’s ballpoint pen brings to paper portraits, transpositions of famous stories, city landscapes, still life in highly detailed realistic technique. A touch of allegory, irony or witty pop-art on the works has also become a signature of the young artist. She finds inspirations during her various trips to Italy. The viewers are impressed by aesthetics, hedonism and natural abundance, which knows no fear of an end or fading that nears.
